Reflexology
Reflexology is a natural and non-invasive complementary therapy suitable for all ages. It treats the body as a whole and creates a deep sense of relaxation. It works on the principle that there are certain reflex points on the feet, hands, ears and face that correspond to the organs and systems of the body. By applying pressure and different techniques to these reflex points it can help to restore the natural flow of energy throughout the body and triggers the body’s natural healing process.
The links below help you to visualise how the feet and hands are like mini maps of our bodies.
How does reflexology help?
Reflexology provides a profound sense of relaxation, helping to calm the nervous system and bring the body back into balance. By working holistically, it supports both physical and emotional well-being, encouraging a deep state of rest where the body can function more efficiently. Regular treatments help to keep the body on an even keel, preventing some of the imbalances that can arise from prolonged stress. The gentle yet powerful effects of reflexology promote harmony throughout the entire system, offering a natural way to maintain overall well-being and resilience in daily life. It provides a moment to pause, unwind, and nurture your body and mind.
What can I expect during reflexology treatment?
Your first appointment begins with a health and lifestyle questionnaire, where we will discuss your medical history, current medication, allergies and any existing health concerns. This allows me to gain a detailed understanding of your situation and health goals so I can create a bespoke treatment plan tailored to your needs, which will be regularly updated and reviewed.
For the treatment itself, you’ll simply need to remove your socks and shoes, roll up your trousers slightly and relax in a comfortable chair. I’ll offer you a blanket to keep you cosy and begin by cleansing your feet with warm towels before applying a reflexology balm of your choice. The session starts with a simple warm-up sequence, followed by the reflexology techniques. Afterwards, I’ll provide you with personalised aftercare advice. Each subsequent treatment will be customised to suit your individual needs and support your ongoing health journey. As a Reflexologist I do not diagnose, but rather help and support alongside conventional medicine.
Reflexology Services

Foot Reflexology
I specialise in foot reflexology, a treatment that targets the dense network of reflex points in the feet, which correspond to different areas of the body. Each foot has over 7,000 nerve endings, making it an incredibly effective treatment area. Since we rely on our feet constantly, it's natural for energy pathways linking these reflex points to become blocked, leading to imbalances and tension. My deeply rejuvenating treatments focus on unblocking energy, relieving tension, and promoting relaxation. This helps enhance overall health and restore balance for both mind and body.
Hand Reflexology
My hand reflexology treatments offer a great alternative for anyone who prefers not to have foot treatments or has physical limitations. These treatments are just as beneficial as foot reflexology, working on reflex points in the hands to help reduce stress, improve energy flow, and promote overall well-being. After your session, I can show you hand reflexology techniques to practice on yourself, allowing you to extend the benefits and continue supporting your well-being at home.
Auricular Reflexology
I offer auricular reflexology, a powerful therapy that works with reflex points on the ears to support balance and well-being. Just like the feet, the ears contain a complete map of the body, with each point corresponding to different organs and systems. By gently stimulating these points, auricular reflexology helps to release tension, restore harmony, and encourage the body’s natural healing processes. It is a deeply relaxing treatment that can complement traditional foot reflexology or be enjoyed on its own, offering a unique way to bring balance to both body and mind.
Ear seeding
As part of my treatments, I offer ear seeding, a gentle and effective technique that uses small seeds or pellets placed on specific reflex points of the ear to support balance and well-being. Just like auricular reflexology, this practice is based on the idea that the body is mapped out on the ears, with each point connected to different organs and systems through energy pathways. Stimulating these points can help enhance the flow of energy, reduce tension, and support overall well-being. Ear seeding can be enjoyed as a stand-alone therapy or as an add-on to reflexology, extending the therapeutic benefits of your care and promoting harmony in the body.
Meridian Reflexology
Meridian Reflexology is based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, focusing on the body's energy pathways, or meridians. This treatment stimulates reflex points to restore the flow of energy and promote balance. While I can offer full Meridian Reflexology treatments, I may also incorporate specific Meridian points into your regular treatment plan to enhance the overall benefits, helping to improve energy flow and restore harmony to the body and mind.
Fertility & Pregnancy
My reflexology treatments can support you throughout your entire maternity journey—from pre-conception to postnatal recovery and during pregnancy. For those trying to conceive, reflexology can help reduce stress, which is vital for reproductive health. My treatments aim to create a supportive and relaxing experience, helping you feel at ease during what can often be an emotionally and physically demanding time.
During pregnancy, reflexology offers expectant mothers a wonderful opportunity for self-care, helping to soothe common discomforts, promote relaxation, and create a sense of calm before labour. Postnatally, my treatments focus on aiding recovery, providing emotional support, and ensuring you feel cared for at every stage of your journey.
Women’s Health and Menopause
My treatments offer a gentle and effective way to support women’s health by reducing stress and promoting overall well-being. Stress can have a significant impact on the body, affecting physical, emotional, and hormonal balance, particularly during times of change such as menstruation, pregnancy, menopause, or other life transitions. I aim to create a restorative and calming experience, helping women feel more balanced and in tune with their bodies.
Cancer and Palliative care
I offer gentle and supportive reflexology treatments for clients undergoing cancer treatment or in palliative care. My approach focuses on treating the person as a whole - considering your physical, emotional, and mental well-being alongside any medical treatments or medications you may be receiving. Reflexology can help reduce stress, promote relaxation, and offer comfort, providing a sense of care during challenging times.
These treatments are designed to help you feel supported and empowered, allowing you to take an active role in your well-being. Whether by alleviating physical discomfort or fostering emotional balance, my goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment where you can feel truly cared for.
AIR Reflexology for Stress
I provide Adaptive Integrated Reflexology (AIR), a specialised treatment for managing chronic stress and anxiety. This foot reflexology technique is designed to shift your body from a state of “fight or flight” into “rest and digest,” helping to calm your nervous system and restore balance. The treatment is based on the connection between the brain, nervous system, endocrine system, psyche, and immune system—key players in the body’s stress response. After treatment, you can feel incredibly rested, with a profound sense of inner calm and stillness.
Reiki
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle non-invasive healing technique that works with the body’s natural energy to promote relaxation, balance and wellbeing. Originating in Japan, it is based on the idea that energy is all around us, and each of our cells has its own energy centre. When this internal and external energy flows freely, we can enjoy a sense of peace and harmony. However, when this flow is disrupted, by stress, illness or trauma, the cell's energy can become blocked, creating a negative impact on our health and wellbeing. As a Reiki therapist, I use a light touch or gently place my hands above the body to release energy blockages and support the flow of life force energy. I work to change your energy level to a more positive free-flowing state.
How does Reiki help?
Reiki helps by reducing stress, promoting deep relaxation and restoring balance to your physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. It can provide relief from anxiety, tension and fatigue while also supporting better sleep and emotional clarity. It can also help to alleviate pain and discomfort. Reiki is suitable for everyone and complements other therapies offering a calming and restorative experience that leaves you feeling refreshed, grounded and more in tune with yourself.
What can I expect from a Reiki treatment?
During a Reiki treatment, you will lie fully clothed on a comfortable treatment bed in a tranquil and peaceful environment. I will gently place my hands on or just above specific areas of your body guiding the flow of energy to the areas that need it, to help clear any blockages and restore balance. I may focus on one area longer than another depending on where the Reiki energy is needed. Many people experience deep relaxation, warmth or tingling sensations as the energy works. Each session is tailored to your individual needs, leaving you calm, refreshed and re-centred.
